Job Tile: Large Format Printer & Finisher 
Location: Bristol – Relocating to Avonmouth
Job Type: Full Time / Permanent / 9am – 5:30pm
Salary: Up to £26K

 

Hobs Visual Communications is currently looking for an experienced Large Format Printer & Finisher with excellent attention to detail to join our small and friendly production team. With 24 sites nationwide, Hobs are now the largest independent printing company in the whole of the UK and also hold a Royal Warrant for our services to the Royal Household.

 

Key Skills & Duties:

  • Create, rip and import files
  • Printing to large format Flat bed and Roll to Roll printers using Onyx
  • Operating the large format laminator
  • Organising the print workload, in conjunction with the Production office
  • Cutting, weeding and applying computer-cut vinyl graphics
  • Stocktaking and ordering of materials
  • Controlling and collating large print jobs
  • Operating Zund G3L2500, Arizona 480GT, Colorado 1650, HP Latex 570, Summa S160

 

Applicants must demonstrate the following:

  • Have good organisational and communication skills
  • Be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to overcome challenges
  • Punctual and flexible including overtime
